We're the Money In Your Pocket Coalition- a group of nonprofit and government agencies in
Pittsburgh, PA who offer free tax preparation and financial education services for hardworking
residents in Allegheny County. That's right, free. No fees. No service charges. No interest.
Results are in for the 2011 tax season:
6,114 tax returns prepared for low-to-moderate income households
$9.7 million in tax refunds for Pittsburghers, including $3.5 million in Earned Income Tax Credits
95 volunteers certified by the IRS
4,081 hours dedicated to tax preparation by these dedicated community volunteers

Since 2009, we have prepared 14,756 tax returns and generated $23.7 million in tax refunds for Pittsburghers, including $9.2 million in earned income tax credits. More than 11,440 hours have been dedicated to tax preparation.
