Pittsburgh, PA who offer free tax preparation and financial education services for hardworking
residents in Allegheny County. That's right, free. No fees. No service charges. No interest.
Here's how we made a difference in 2012:
6,393 tax returns prepared for low-to-moderate income households
$10.6 million in refunds for Allegheny County residents, including $4.4 million in Earned Income Tax Credits
147 volunteers certified by the IRS
6,375 hours dedicated to tax preparation by these dedicated community volunteers
Best of all, 98% of our clients said they would use our service again.
Since 2009, we have prepared 21,149 tax returns and generated $34.3 million in tax refunds for Pittsburghers, including $13.6 million in Earned Income Tax Credits. More than 17,800 hours have been dedicated to tax preparation.
